My opinion?
I’m a practicing lawyer who crushed law school by ignoring conventional wisdom, so let me be brutally honest: most of that stuff is not really all that helpful.
Law school can be a lonely slog. These schools love dumping first year students in the middle of the ocean to see if they drown. But it doesn’t have to be that way. The best safety net is the advice and experience of a lawyer who cracked the code.

Learning to “work smarter” is a buzzword, but it's more than just a trendy phrase. Research shows we don’t have an unlimited pool of cognitive resources. Law school is a legendary time-suck that will encourage you to drain your mental battery on busy work.
I didn’t play that game and neither should you. You need to work smarter, not harder. That mentality starts with this course, which cuts through all the BS.
Write Well, Skip Pre-Law
Law-related undergrad courses aren’t the best prep for law school. That’s because the law is really not about talking -- it’s about writing. I’ll show you how to up your writing game.
Focus on the LSAT, Not Tasks With Low ROI
Applying for law school is different than getting into college. Not all factors are considered equally. Don’t sweat over extracurriculars, the right major, or even your GPA. Spend your time practicing for the LSAT, which will bring you the greatest return on your investment.
Learn to Outline, Avoid Busy Work
At the end of the semester, your classmates will all be zombies. Most law students get bogged down with so much busy work that they collapse before the final exam. But you won’t. I’ll explain how outlining from day 1 will have you leapfrogging the competition.
Practice More, Study Less
Reviewing flashcards, highlighting key words, and re-reading cases until you fall asleep won’t help you on final exams. Instead, you’ll learn my can’t-miss strategy for preparing for finals. You’ll find old exams and learn how to break them down.
Identify Your Niche, Ignore Chatter
Law students love to gossip, especially when it comes to summer associate jobs and internships. Ignore the chatter about law firms and judges. This course gives an overview of internships, judicial clerkships, and summer jobs, helping you identify the opportunities you should target.
